Welcome friends! Something you should know about me, I love to have friends! LOTS of friends! I’m hoping if you take the time to come read my blog and spend some time with me, we are going to be friends. So please stop and visit often, I’m so glad you are here!
Speaking of friends, one thing you need to know about me is that I’m a procrastinator..not just a little, I’m talking pro-level procrastination. I don’t know why I’m wired like this. I’ve tried to self-diagnosis, but every time I come to the same conclusion – it doesn’t matter why I’m a procrastinator, it’s not going to change. I am what I am. You can count on it – I’m going to put off until tomorrow what I could have done today.
I tell y’all this because I have been sitting on an idea since about 2010. To start a blog, a website, a page, a podcast, a radio show, a TV show (just kidding, that’s a little much – I know). I didn’t know what, but I wanted a good resource to help out my friends! I’m often asked “how do you do_______?” and I have to always admit that I have learned it from someone else. A little information I have picked up from a lady here, a technique I have learned from somewhere else, a demonstration I saw or something I read. I just put it all together and figure it out. The thought occurred to me one day, I’ve done it all with a little help along the way. I said to myself, “Dawn, that would make a great name of a blog or podcast”. So here we are. I hope to share lots of ideas with you, and I hope you return the favor and share lots of ideas with me.
Here you will find lots of cooking, crafting, home decorating and church ministry ideas – all the things I love. I look forward to our journey of learning together and encouraging one another.
Stay sweet!

Look forward to being a part of this journey.

We have something new in common! I will likely never conquer my procrastination habit. I’m sitting here watching YouTube with 2 crochet and 1 knitting project next to me…but the cat fell asleep on my lap. I should be outside doing yard work or working on one of the animal buildings I’m in process on. Oh well, I’ll get to it all energetically!
